Everything comes out fine

Some of you know that Monday I had my HSG procedure. I was sooo nervous about it. Mostly because a man doctor was doing it and not my normal lady OBGYN. Anyways, it was the fertility doctor, Dr. Long. He walked me through the procedure and all I felt was a few cramps.. and the end result was... my tubes are clear.. So that was a good way to start my week. And the doctor was really nice too! I got back Friday for some more bloodwork to see if my Clomid worked. We'll keep our fingers crossed that this will be the month!!

On another note, Zach's job is cutting their hours starting next week. So 1/3 of his paycheck will be missing. They can only work two days instead of three. Gotta love my life right now. I think Zach will soon be finding himself working on the weekends.

My little man turns 4 on November 2nd. Man how time flies. Makes me sad thinking back! I'm still try to figure out where to have his birthday party. It is hard when you have a November birthday because you never know how cold it will be outside. He did tell me he wanted a Toy Story party so at least I have somewhere to start. I was thinking about Trussville Park but who knows.

I am getting ready for a busy weekend. Saturday I am working and then we have a wedding to go to at 2. We are going to the Alan Jackson concert at Verizon that night. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Sunday we are celebrating my grandmother and niece's birthdays at my brother's house. It is even better because my Aunt Mary is home from Las Vegas visiting this week. So good to see her. It's been two years.

Lastly, here's a pic of my Big Boy cheering at Lindsey's game! Yean Zach has soo not seen this.

Have a great weekend my friends!

Good news...

Zach got his heart monitor results back today and they did not see anything wrong. So that is good. We still do not know what caused his heart to race and him almost black out but at least we know he has no major heart problems, which is very good news. My dad had heart problems and I know how scary that is.

I went to see Shannon and baby Henley last night. She is precious. I got to hold her for a little while. She was asleep the whole time. Shannon looked great as always. Harper was soo cute in her big sister outfit too. I'm glad everything is going well for them!

Tonight I am going to watch my niece Lindsey cheer for Rudd. I have not been to one of her games yet this year so I am pretty excited. She is the captain of their squad so I will get to she her at work! She also made Homecoming court for the 8th grade so in a few weeks I will get to watch her walk out on the field at halftime hopefully winning the crown!

My niece Lindsey, my sister, and my niece Karley

On another note, I go to the doctor tomorrow for an ultrasound and blood work. No I am not pregnant yet. They just have to check my ovaries and such and see if I can start my Clomid again. Hopefully everything will be fine this month and we can try again!

Tomorrow night is GNO at Ashley's. Can't wait to see all of you there. Have a great rest of your day!

I've got to get better at this

So I am a slacker.. I must admit. I can't get in the groove of this whole blogging thing. Lately, I have been worried about too much other stuff. As some of you know, Zach has been off work for over two weeks while we wait for the results from his heart doctor. His stress test and echocardiogram came back fine so now we are waiting for the heart monitor test results to come back. Meanwhile, he can not go back to work until everything comes back fine. I am thankful for the good results but this wait has added an additional stress on me. (he is not getting paid for not working). Anyways, we will survive. We have made it through these hurdles several other times. Since I last posted, I have surpsingly gotten to go to the Taylor Swift concert with my aunt and cousin-in-laws. It was great. I must say I was expecting a lot worse. I have seen her perform live on tv and she was much better at her concert! So I was greatful that his cousin Paul gave up his ticket for me to go.

I have enjoyed watching Alabama win their football games. ROLL TIDE!

We went to my friend Kainah's son Bryce's birthday party Sunday at the park. (Thanks to Shannon for making him the cutest AL shirt last minute!) Luckily the rain held off for the most part but it was very humid. Riley really enjoys going to the park so we had a great time. I have no new pictures to post today because one again I am at work. I seem to only find time to write while I am on my lunch break. Anyways, our dear friend Shannon is at the hospital having Henley so I can't wait to hear the details and see her. Good luck Shannon! I hope everyone has a great week and I will see some of yall at our fabulous GNO Friday!! My favorite GNO pic below!

To catch yall up...

I've been busy this week and haven't had a chance to update. So here goes my Labor Day weekend.. Friday we left for PCB. A little later than planned but thankful to the boss for giving us some money to spend at the beach! It took us 7 hours to get there. The traffic on 65 was horrible. We got to our room at 11:00... after stopping at the liquor store for some wine! Saturday morning we got up and spent the day laying out on the beach. The weather was great and the water was crystal clear. Absolutely beautiful! Saturday night we went to eat some seafood at Pompano's and then came back to our room to root on our team.. ROLL TIDE! Sunday we slept in then went to lunch at Olive Garden, then went shopping at Pier Park. Once we got back from shopping, me, Ginger and Kala went parasailing. Poor Kala is scared of the ocean and she was a tropper and walked to the first sandbar so we could get on the boat. Since we had three people going, they let me go twice so two people could go at a time.. it was great! That was my 2nd and 3rd time to do that. I really enjoyed it again. That night we went to dinner for my b'day at Sharky's. We had a great night.. and I had a wonderful birthday. Thanks to everyone who remembered it! We checked out on Monday at 11, ate lunch at Margaritaville and then headed home. We got stuck in some traffic on 331 so we didn't make it home until around 7. I was so glad to be home to my Riley. He was happy to see me but not as happy as I thought he would be! I had a great trip and birthday!
So this week starts on Tuesday, back to work.. Zach is on his way to work and starts getting dizzy, tingly, his heart about to beat out of his chest and almost blacking out. After being checked by the nurse at Amerex they insist that he goes to the doctor before he can come to work. We went to AFC who in turn told him to go to the ER. So guess what I spend the evenign until 11 at the St Vincents East emergency room with no results. All the tests they did came out fine. So Zach went to the cardiologist yesterday and he has to go back on Monday for a stress test, echocardiogram and has to wear this heart monitor for 24 hours. He feels fine but he has to be cleared through the cardiologist before he can return to work. So hopefully he will be able to go back on Tuesday (he is not getting paid for missing work). And hopefully everything will be okay with him. Work has been interesting this week as well.. they promoted a guy to personnel manager and took the office manager position away from Summer. I really am not happy about the new change. I feel like now we have a babysitter for a boss and that he will tell on us for anything. I am really not looking forward to my future here with him in charge. Hopefully it will not be as bad as I am thinking so we will see..
As for the weekend, I get the pleasure of working tomorrow and i doubt we will get to watch the AL game since it is in on paperview. Sunday, my family will be celebrating mine and my sister in law's birthday. Always fun to get the family together. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and that your football team wins. ROLLLLLL TTTIIIIDDDDEEEE!!!!
Sorry no pics.. they are on my computer at home and I am at work.

Yeah for Fridays

So I thought I would write something quick... I am leaving here from work at 3 and am headed south! Riley still does not know I am going to be gone. He asked Zach this morning why my car was there and if I was having swim day at work. My sister brought me to work this morning. We work one block from one another. Poor Riley, he woke me up about 11 last night throwing up all over himself and my bed. Zach was still awake so I had to call him in there for help. We had to strip the bed and Riley and clean up. About 30 mins later, he woke me up again needing to throw up. I yelled for Zach and he came in there and got him. They didn't exactly make it to the bathroom but close. My poor baby sick at home without me.. I am hoping that he doesn't have the dreaded stomach virus that is going around his daycare. Zach said he was doing okay so far today. I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend and

Swimming at work

As some of you know, I am headed to Panama City for a girls trip to the beach with some of my co-workers. Well I decided to go ahead and start packing last night. Riley saw that I had the beach bag out with towels in it and asked if we were going swimming at Aunt Dana's. I told him no. He said are we going to Nana's. I said no.. he said where are we going, I said.. no where, Momma is going to go swimming at work. He said, can I go? I said no, kids can't come to work. Bad I know but I just can't bear to tell him I am leaving for the beach in the morning. I know Zach would love to annoy me with it and let him know but he has held back. I am sure he will spill the beans tonight. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I have never gone without Riley or my husband for a trip. Also, I wonder how Riley will act without his Momma all weekend. Some may know, Riley is a BIG Momma's boy. God love him! So anyways, I am gonna try not to think about it and have a good time. We are leaving work tomorrow at 3 and will return home Monday afternoon. I will get to celebrate my birthday on Sunday down there and also get to watch AL beat VA Tech there as well... ROLL TIDE! Man I am getting old! I will be sure to take a bunch of pictures to share when I get back. I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and may your football team win.. I had to post an old pic.. but it is me and Riley from our beach trip last summer.. pre glasses.

The Beginning

After spending the last month of reading other people's blogs I have decided to jump on the bandwagon. I can't say that my stories are gonna be as humorous as some I read but I will try to post some good ones. We know when we have kids there are a lot of stories. So this starts my blog.. mommy mackey is ready to begin...
