Days go by...

I just realized it has been two weeks since my last post.. I've been busy and stressed and have just been enjoying reading your blogs.
Since I have last posted I have watched AL beat LSU and MS State.. Roll Tide! I actually went to the AL vs LSU game! The game was awesome, seats were good.. we had a great time.
We had Riley's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese... I just thought it would be less stressful to have it there.. man was it crowded. AAHHH! Thanks to all that came and I hope you all had as much fun as Riley did.. He got lots of great things and enjoyed it there. That was his first time there. We will have to take him back since we didn't use all his tokens.
Me and Zach went to the doctor to find out that he has some abnormal chromosomes which could cause me to miscarry or have a child with a chromosomal disorder. That is a 50/50 chance.. but with our other issues the chances of us getting pregnant on our own are slim. They suggested we do invitro or have a sperm donor. At this time, we are not able to do either one.. so we will not be going back to the doctor. So just pray that we will conceive a healthy baby on our own.
Zach is still jobless and Riley now only goes to school from 8-12 each day. He seems to be enjoying not having to take a nap.. that's what he told me. Last weekend me and two others tackled my kitchen wallpaper.. after 8 hours of hard work we got it all down. I am so glad that fruit wallpaper is gone. My husband has spent the past few days getting it painted and pretty for me.. I started the project but he has been nice enough to finish it for me.
Tomorrow night is GNO at my house for the first time. I am excited for everyone to come over.. we will miss the ones who can not make it this time. It is going to be very slim.
I would like to say congrats to Amy and Mark on having their baby yesterday. I know they are super excited and are blessed with with a beautiful baby girl!
My niece is in her 8th grade pageant Saturday night so we will keep our fingers crossed that she will do great.. I can't wait to go see her.
Have a great weekend everyone and I will see most of you this weekend sometime!

P.S. Sorry no pics! Check out my Facebook for the latest pics.

ROLL TIDE!

Short and Sweet

Thought I would post some pics from Halloween and Riley's Birthday. Both were good..

This is one of Riley's birthday gifts..

Zach carved the pumpkin to match Riley as batman and added his name to it!

My very own Batman and his Bat Mobile

Riley and Aubrey.. (Bambi's daughter)

Logan, Riley and Aubrey.. they all go to school together

My baby turned 4! Where has the time gone to???

Zach did this for him and when he got home he was so excited!!

He loved his gifts.

He was so excited about showing his Transformers gun to our neighbor Hannah that he fell running full speed in our driveway.. OUCH!

Me and LeAnn went to see Morgan and Baby Brooks today. He is so precious and Morgan looked great. I am so happy for them and I know they are so proud.

Lastly, I would like to ask you all to pray for us. Zach got laid off from his job of 6 years on Riley's birthday so we are now on a job hunt. Also, he got a letter from the B'ham Police Department to take their physical test on November 21st. He will be spending the next two weeks trying to get in shape for that. He has always wanted to be a cop so I hope the God has sent this at the right time.. I ask that you pray for him to do well.. I will let yall know the results of the job hunt and police thing.

Have a great weekend and Roll Tide. I am going to the game with my boss and co-worker Kala.. Woo Hoo! Can't wait.

Weekend Recap

Here are a few pics from the Miley Cyrus concert (well before and there):

Riley and Karley..

Me and my Sissy

Yeah we were one of the parents that paid $10 for a light up necklace.

Before the show

I got a little let down about the whole concert. Riley was not near as excited to see Miley as I thought. I think now that maybe he was too young. He sat there and just watched and clapped his hands ever now and then. I told him that the guy was Miley's brother and he said.. is that Oliver? HA! He really likes Hannah Montana. I was thinking it would be more on that line but I was way off! We all still had a good time!

I must say ROLL TIDE after that nerve wracker. We had Zach's dad and some friends over for the game. Needless to say, I saw a beer flying as we blocked Tennessee's last kick.. courtesy of my husband! Not to mention, beer splattered all over our TV. I could not believe as protective as he is of everything that he did that.. I guess the beer got to his head!!

After the game we played some Guitar Hero.. which has not been played in months.. I am thinking that whole Wii thing was a waste of money but since it was my Christmas gift.. I won't go there. Here is Riley playing his own Guitar Hero.

Sunday I slept in from my late night Saturday and then worked for five hours.. Yeah I am a dedicated employee!!!

I go to the doctor Thursday so I will let yall know how that goes. Have a wonderful week everyone.. and good luck at the doctor as well Morgan!

We've been waiting for this day for awhile

That's right.. it's finally here....
No I'm not pregnant!
It's the Miley Cyrus concert.. Riley has been asking me all week about going to the concert. I doubt he even knows what a concert is but he does love him some Miley Cyrus. Today I am leaving work early so that we can get there in time. Since it is a paperless ticket concert, it probably will take awhile to get in. I went shopping Wednesday night and found Riley a cute shirt for the concert.

I also got me one from Rue 21. We are going with my sister and niece Karley. Since we could only get 4 tickets my niece Lindsey is going with her friend.
On a different note.. I also found Riley a cute birthday shirt on Etsy. com. He is getting too old for all the monogrammed stuff so I thought this one would work great.

I'm sure he will like it. He loves clothes and shoes just like his daddy and mom.

Last Sunday we went to the Pumpkin Patch in Hayden with my friend Dana and her family. We got there about 2 and it was extremely crowded. It has never been that crowded when I was there and the pumpkins were far from great this year.. there were tons of rotten ones and no really big ones. Needless to say, I was not impressed. Riley did enjoy riding the pony and playing on the inflatables. Oh I must tell this part, Riley climbed up the stairs to ride down the big slide one and when he got to the top he started crying so I made the girl behind him push him down it.. he was crying the whole time.. I'm not sure why he gets so scared at stuff these days.. After that him and Zach did it together and he loved it! All the pics from the Pumpkin Patch are on my Facebook. We took tons!
On the pregnancy issue, we will meet with Dr. Long Thursday to see what he wants us to do next. I will let yall know how that goes!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I hope your team pulls off a victory. ROLL TIDE ROLL!

These boots...

This is my niece Lindsey and her friend Rayme at their Homecoming game.

At her best

Me and Zach before we went to the Alan Jackson concert. Which was awesome by the way!

Riley thought he needed to wear his daddy's boots and I thought it was too cute! He's a mess!
I will see my GNO girls tonight! Pumpkin Patch on Sunday.. can't wait!
Have a wonderful weekend and of course ROLL TIDE!

Everything comes out fine

Some of you know that Monday I had my HSG procedure. I was sooo nervous about it. Mostly because a man doctor was doing it and not my normal lady OBGYN. Anyways, it was the fertility doctor, Dr. Long. He walked me through the procedure and all I felt was a few cramps.. and the end result was... my tubes are clear.. So that was a good way to start my week. And the doctor was really nice too! I got back Friday for some more bloodwork to see if my Clomid worked. We'll keep our fingers crossed that this will be the month!!

On another note, Zach's job is cutting their hours starting next week. So 1/3 of his paycheck will be missing. They can only work two days instead of three. Gotta love my life right now. I think Zach will soon be finding himself working on the weekends.

My little man turns 4 on November 2nd. Man how time flies. Makes me sad thinking back! I'm still try to figure out where to have his birthday party. It is hard when you have a November birthday because you never know how cold it will be outside. He did tell me he wanted a Toy Story party so at least I have somewhere to start. I was thinking about Trussville Park but who knows.

I am getting ready for a busy weekend. Saturday I am working and then we have a wedding to go to at 2. We are going to the Alan Jackson concert at Verizon that night. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Sunday we are celebrating my grandmother and niece's birthdays at my brother's house. It is even better because my Aunt Mary is home from Las Vegas visiting this week. So good to see her. It's been two years.

Lastly, here's a pic of my Big Boy cheering at Lindsey's game! Yean Zach has soo not seen this.

Have a great weekend my friends!

Good news...

Zach got his heart monitor results back today and they did not see anything wrong. So that is good. We still do not know what caused his heart to race and him almost black out but at least we know he has no major heart problems, which is very good news. My dad had heart problems and I know how scary that is.

I went to see Shannon and baby Henley last night. She is precious. I got to hold her for a little while. She was asleep the whole time. Shannon looked great as always. Harper was soo cute in her big sister outfit too. I'm glad everything is going well for them!

Tonight I am going to watch my niece Lindsey cheer for Rudd. I have not been to one of her games yet this year so I am pretty excited. She is the captain of their squad so I will get to she her at work! She also made Homecoming court for the 8th grade so in a few weeks I will get to watch her walk out on the field at halftime hopefully winning the crown!

My niece Lindsey, my sister, and my niece Karley

On another note, I go to the doctor tomorrow for an ultrasound and blood work. No I am not pregnant yet. They just have to check my ovaries and such and see if I can start my Clomid again. Hopefully everything will be fine this month and we can try again!

Tomorrow night is GNO at Ashley's. Can't wait to see all of you there. Have a great rest of your day!

I've got to get better at this

So I am a slacker.. I must admit. I can't get in the groove of this whole blogging thing. Lately, I have been worried about too much other stuff. As some of you know, Zach has been off work for over two weeks while we wait for the results from his heart doctor. His stress test and echocardiogram came back fine so now we are waiting for the heart monitor test results to come back. Meanwhile, he can not go back to work until everything comes back fine. I am thankful for the good results but this wait has added an additional stress on me. (he is not getting paid for not working). Anyways, we will survive. We have made it through these hurdles several other times. Since I last posted, I have surpsingly gotten to go to the Taylor Swift concert with my aunt and cousin-in-laws. It was great. I must say I was expecting a lot worse. I have seen her perform live on tv and she was much better at her concert! So I was greatful that his cousin Paul gave up his ticket for me to go.

I have enjoyed watching Alabama win their football games. ROLL TIDE!

We went to my friend Kainah's son Bryce's birthday party Sunday at the park. (Thanks to Shannon for making him the cutest AL shirt last minute!) Luckily the rain held off for the most part but it was very humid. Riley really enjoys going to the park so we had a great time. I have no new pictures to post today because one again I am at work. I seem to only find time to write while I am on my lunch break. Anyways, our dear friend Shannon is at the hospital having Henley so I can't wait to hear the details and see her. Good luck Shannon! I hope everyone has a great week and I will see some of yall at our fabulous GNO Friday!! My favorite GNO pic below!

To catch yall up...

I've been busy this week and haven't had a chance to update. So here goes my Labor Day weekend.. Friday we left for PCB. A little later than planned but thankful to the boss for giving us some money to spend at the beach! It took us 7 hours to get there. The traffic on 65 was horrible. We got to our room at 11:00... after stopping at the liquor store for some wine! Saturday morning we got up and spent the day laying out on the beach. The weather was great and the water was crystal clear. Absolutely beautiful! Saturday night we went to eat some seafood at Pompano's and then came back to our room to root on our team.. ROLL TIDE! Sunday we slept in then went to lunch at Olive Garden, then went shopping at Pier Park. Once we got back from shopping, me, Ginger and Kala went parasailing. Poor Kala is scared of the ocean and she was a tropper and walked to the first sandbar so we could get on the boat. Since we had three people going, they let me go twice so two people could go at a time.. it was great! That was my 2nd and 3rd time to do that. I really enjoyed it again. That night we went to dinner for my b'day at Sharky's. We had a great night.. and I had a wonderful birthday. Thanks to everyone who remembered it! We checked out on Monday at 11, ate lunch at Margaritaville and then headed home. We got stuck in some traffic on 331 so we didn't make it home until around 7. I was so glad to be home to my Riley. He was happy to see me but not as happy as I thought he would be! I had a great trip and birthday!
So this week starts on Tuesday, back to work.. Zach is on his way to work and starts getting dizzy, tingly, his heart about to beat out of his chest and almost blacking out. After being checked by the nurse at Amerex they insist that he goes to the doctor before he can come to work. We went to AFC who in turn told him to go to the ER. So guess what I spend the evenign until 11 at the St Vincents East emergency room with no results. All the tests they did came out fine. So Zach went to the cardiologist yesterday and he has to go back on Monday for a stress test, echocardiogram and has to wear this heart monitor for 24 hours. He feels fine but he has to be cleared through the cardiologist before he can return to work. So hopefully he will be able to go back on Tuesday (he is not getting paid for missing work). And hopefully everything will be okay with him. Work has been interesting this week as well.. they promoted a guy to personnel manager and took the office manager position away from Summer. I really am not happy about the new change. I feel like now we have a babysitter for a boss and that he will tell on us for anything. I am really not looking forward to my future here with him in charge. Hopefully it will not be as bad as I am thinking so we will see..
As for the weekend, I get the pleasure of working tomorrow and i doubt we will get to watch the AL game since it is in on paperview. Sunday, my family will be celebrating mine and my sister in law's birthday. Always fun to get the family together. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and that your football team wins. ROLLLLLL TTTIIIIDDDDEEEE!!!!
Sorry no pics.. they are on my computer at home and I am at work.

Yeah for Fridays

So I thought I would write something quick... I am leaving here from work at 3 and am headed south! Riley still does not know I am going to be gone. He asked Zach this morning why my car was there and if I was having swim day at work. My sister brought me to work this morning. We work one block from one another. Poor Riley, he woke me up about 11 last night throwing up all over himself and my bed. Zach was still awake so I had to call him in there for help. We had to strip the bed and Riley and clean up. About 30 mins later, he woke me up again needing to throw up. I yelled for Zach and he came in there and got him. They didn't exactly make it to the bathroom but close. My poor baby sick at home without me.. I am hoping that he doesn't have the dreaded stomach virus that is going around his daycare. Zach said he was doing okay so far today. I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend and

Swimming at work

As some of you know, I am headed to Panama City for a girls trip to the beach with some of my co-workers. Well I decided to go ahead and start packing last night. Riley saw that I had the beach bag out with towels in it and asked if we were going swimming at Aunt Dana's. I told him no. He said are we going to Nana's. I said no.. he said where are we going, I said.. no where, Momma is going to go swimming at work. He said, can I go? I said no, kids can't come to work. Bad I know but I just can't bear to tell him I am leaving for the beach in the morning. I know Zach would love to annoy me with it and let him know but he has held back. I am sure he will spill the beans tonight. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I have never gone without Riley or my husband for a trip. Also, I wonder how Riley will act without his Momma all weekend. Some may know, Riley is a BIG Momma's boy. God love him! So anyways, I am gonna try not to think about it and have a good time. We are leaving work tomorrow at 3 and will return home Monday afternoon. I will get to celebrate my birthday on Sunday down there and also get to watch AL beat VA Tech there as well... ROLL TIDE! Man I am getting old! I will be sure to take a bunch of pictures to share when I get back. I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and may your football team win.. I had to post an old pic.. but it is me and Riley from our beach trip last summer.. pre glasses.

The Beginning

After spending the last month of reading other people's blogs I have decided to jump on the bandwagon. I can't say that my stories are gonna be as humorous as some I read but I will try to post some good ones. We know when we have kids there are a lot of stories. So this starts my blog.. mommy mackey is ready to begin...
